Value of Time
You’ve heard the phrase “time is moneyâ€, but have you measure how much is your time worth to you? If you earn 5,000 a month, and assuming you work 25 day a month, on average and every day you put in 10 hours, then every hour is worth 20 dollars to you.
Why do you want to know this? To have more money, you have to figure out how to increase your income. Once you know how much your time is worth to you must try to NOT DO the things that brings low value.
Things like mowing the lawn or washing your car. If you can pay someone 10 dollars an hour to do those chores, then you are on the right path to earn more money. Use the time you saved, to either improve or learn new skills to increase income.
On the other hand, if you use the time to watch TV, then you are on the way to poverty. The reason why rich people become rich is they know how to spend their money. One way is to get others to do the things that don’t bring in a good return.
If you are a DIY type of person, think before you start a project at home. It may be cheaper to pay someone to do the job. How much is your time worth?
