Bio-Disc, Another Scam?
2 days ago, I met a prospective customer, Mr. B who after hearing my explanation of products, started to tell me about a Bio-Disc. Being a logical skeptic, the item Mr. B showed me look like ordinary glass with lightly imprints of circles. That the product was distributed through Multi Level Marketing or network marketing, is another red flag to me.
I mean, if you have such a fantastic product, why wouldn’t the manufacturer sell it at what ever price and get all the profits, rather than share the money with the people in the network? Look at Viagra. Pfizer didn’t sell the drug through the network, did they. They knew they have a market and a product that will stand up to medical trials and FDA approval, not withstanding side effects but you get my drift.
Anyway, it has been some time since I first highlighted a scam so it seem just about the right time. Remember the first rule of investing? Don’t lose your money! Don’t fall into this one.

my friend, it seem like you don’t know the concept of multi-level marketing and network marketing. You have problem with company that share profit with the marketer? If you don’t know why the manufacturer sell bio-disc by network, then go find out why.
Bio-disc is nothing to do with scam. My friend don’t prejudge my, find out more first before you advice people which one not to jump in.

Guys, try to be positive in mind. Networkmarketing is as a matter of one of the way of working. What’s the difference with people who become embloyee or having restaurant business or a doctor? Not all of people like to be a doctor, or having restaurant business or become an employee. Life is a choice. As long as you know what you want, then you will start searching how to reach it. In my understanding network marketing is as a matter a tools or a system. Can’t run itself, must be somebody run it. The system will become good if the person run it a good way. But it will become hell, when the person run it improperly. So, system is just a system. If it becomes bad for A, it doesn’t mean bad for B or you or me. Once again it’s a choice, you can run it good or bad 100% depends on you. For me network marketing is a great system since everybody can run the business without limitation on CV, gender, age, education.
Personally, I don’t believe in the BIODISK. Though, I want to know more about it. I cannot imagine why it costs so much. Water is FREE and available to everyone. However, BIODISK costs US$700. If the manufacturer or the inventor wants to help as many people as they can, why not distribute it in the lowest price posible i.e. just to get back the manufacturing cost and the shipment. In short, why commercialize the item?
@ Mel, well when you look at it as a choice, I agree with what you wrote. There are lousy doctors as well, true?
Look at it this way. Assume that the BioDisc is NOT a miracle and was never sold as such. Do you think it can be sold at say US$ 700 retail on the shelf? Maybe they’ll sell 10, or even 100. But using a networking system, thousands are sold, I reckon.
So what I’m saying is, today, selling a product through a multi level network ALREADY raises a flag. And then, there are demos by the local management proving the “magical powers” of the disc with. Enough said?
@SomeConcern. As a business entity or inventor, I think there is no harm in making tons of money. You can charge as much as the market is willing to bear IF the product is genuine.

Yes, i agree that it is hard to “imagine” why it cost so much, you can just find out the cost of using latest technology to make the glass, and how the company set the price. No worry or doubt, just find out first. I was skeptical, today Bio-disc become an important part of my family and my life. to Some concern: I appreciate you still want to know more. I believe we as a consumer will never know why it costs $700 for (2 biodiscs) since we are only consumer not investor. I agree with H that the company does not sell a piece of glass. There is a value behind it. Same if you buy gold jewellery, of course the company will not sell it as piece of gold but more to the art. That’s why the price is for the art. Biodisc is not only a piece of glass, there is some benefit behind it when we use it. For biodisc we are talking about positive energy that come out from the glass since there is a combination of few minerals in it. We can fell the benefit of this energy only if we use it. I understand it’s quite difficult to believe it since we can’t see the energy. We only can feel it. It has helped so many people in my contry who buy it, also me. I have felt the value of using biodisc. If I don’t use it, I will not believe it. Because I use it, I know what the value behind it.
to Ed: mlm is one of the tools for people to work. Need somebody to run it. Same with car, need somebody who knows how to drive it so it will move in the right direction. Same with mlm. I had heard of the bio-disc 3 years ago and long been a skeptic of it and I disbelieve the things they claim it can do.
Somehow, in passing, I had only heard many good things about it and in fact even some miracle stories. Normally I wouldn’t give it a second thought but in my experience, technology in general is so rapidly advanced today, many new products have proven to be so outrageous and yet completely legitimate.
I decided to withhold my judgment until I had fully research the subject in its entirety.
It turns out this disc is part of a new wave of technological advancement that will be popping up more and more in our everyday lives. As of now, the majority of the technology is being utilized for military purposes,
ie. undetectable spy planes, implants for soldiers (supersoldiers) and even actual functioning ray guns.
In very brief, some info on what I have found on the disc and what does:
It uses a type of science that is still in its infancy, “NANOTECHNOLOGY”.
Hmmm what the heck is that? Well I’ll tell you its applications are just absolutely ridiculously amazing!! With it we can manufacture things from mini robots the size of blood cells that can be injected into the bloodstream to carry out nanoscopic (beyond microscopic) surgery, to a flashlight (now sold widely in the United States) that can kill all bacteria (completely sterilizes) just by shining its light upon a surface, to tiny engines that are steady state (do not move [so, no fuel & no exhaust])! and much much more. When this science eventually develops, our imagination will literally be the only boundary of man and his inventions.
What is the Bio-Disc?
In nature, there is a type of bio-energy that is extremely elusive, yet extremely beneficial to all known life. Even water exposed to this specific energy wave comes alive in a process known as ‘vivification ‘(water has memory…I know its weird!). This is good to know since we, as humans are around 60-70% water.
This elusive energy is found in blood that is from a live person, yet not in the blood of a dead person. In the battle field, blood is all around medics, yet most of it is from the dead and is unusable for transfusions to give to the living. If you were to charge the dead blood with the bio-disc before hand, it would be vivified and could be used! This is just one of literally hundreds of applications which the energy can be used for.
This ‘magical’ energy is known as Scalar Energy Waves and was only recently discovered.
These Scalar Energy Waves exist in the highest concentration in the ‘holiest’ natural water springs of the world (‘holiest’ meaning hot springs which have the most numerous and most miraculous healings associated with them). It is fascinating to learn how the springs produce the energy.
The glass disc is in fact a holding facility for a mini factory (with no use of moving parts) that is able to emit these waves 5 meters in all directions. You cannot see the factory it as it is Nanoscopic
Each disc is examined and tested by one of the few machines in the world that can actually detect and measure Scalar Energy Waves, it is NASA’s multi-million dollar Prognose Machine. If a disc passes the testing it is then certified and apparently when purchased, comes with this individual certificate.
Since this finding I had to purchase one to try for myself. Though, I had only used it to vivify my drinking water, I recently had a very very bad rash for many weeks and the prescribed lotion from my GP was not working at all, even after continuous application. I decided to use the disc in my bath water and I am now a complete believer in the power of the Bio-Disc. After my second bath on the second day the rash had COMPLETELY vanished from my body. This was one of the strangest things I have ever witnessed, I am so glad I am an open minded person who does not fall victim my previous beliefs or I would never have come across this handy tool.
This is just a marketing technique. There is no solid documentation from a accredited laboratory to prove its claims technologically and effaciously. Secondly at a cost of approximately USD 3000 per kg it is extremely expensive. Thirdly it does not have an MSDS, fourthly it does not an manufacturers Technical data sheet and fifthly it does have a stamped date of manufacture. lot number, expiry date stamped on it or its container. Nothing to hold the manufacturer to their marketing gimmicks’. In a few years this whole exercise would in all probability die its own death and be determined as a possible fraud.

Yes Joshi, it is extremely expensive per Kg, however this isn’t the 19th century and the Biodisc definitely is not a precious metal.
The Disc works on a minuscule scale, so mindbogglingly small that it is incomprehensible using past paradigms of molecules or even atoms…. hence the term “NANO”-technology. Nanotechnology works on a sub-atomic scale.
This technology is so new and advanced the word isn’t even in the dictionary of the spell-check of this website. That means it’s bogus or doesn’t exist right?
In point of fact, more and more products with claims of wild and “outrageous” benefits WILL be put on the market using this technology.
One can stay ignorant and stagnant or they can do their own research with a flexible mind, evolve with the rest of the world and reap the benefits which they will offer mankind.
The “mystical” healing hot springs around the world do not have any “western” documentation accompanying them, yet thousands upon thousands of people from the east and west flock to them for remedy and rejuvenation when traditional medicine has let them down.
I cannot say that the Biodisc is a panacea that will work to cure every ailment every time.
Yet I can say that I have met droves of people whom it has helped when pharmaceuticals and drugs have FAILED them.
The sad part is Joshi, ALL of these drugs and pharmaceuticals have a MSDS, a manufacturers technical data sheet, a stamped date of manufacture. lot number, expiry date stamped on it or its container and are also usually MUCH more than 3000/per Kg and still prove to elicit extremely unhealthy side effects in the subject.
Solely because something is in the minority does not make it useless.

The Bio Disc for your information is manufactured By Schott Glass in Germany who are experts in manufacturing ceramics induced into glass and also quartz glass. Ceramics have got high temperature properties and this explains the High temperature that the Biodisc can withstand. It IS known to transform light into a healing energy field but that is not why it has gained FAME. It has become so popular due its ability to emit the extremely beneficial Scalar Waves that can permeate even solid rock.
personally i understand the concept of network marketing and you can understand this only if you have an open mind and you are willing to do so. if not, no one else but you yourself is a looser.
Ed, i think you need to meet Dr. Lyons who manufactured this disc so that he gives you an elaborate explanation other than demarketing this great product because of your ignorance.

1. Excessive use of the work nano-technology.
2. Compared it to homeopathy.
3. Multilevel marketing … I agree with the original author. MLM is a legal on paper, but the people pushing this stuff invariably coax gullible individuals towards a pyramid type of scheme. Always a bad idea.

Well i wd just say one thing about the bio disc that it’s simply awesome. People who are saying negative about the disc should go ahead and understand the product first instead of giving their bullshit explanations…these kind of people are just closed minded and only follow the negative aspects in everything they came across rather then going deep and finding out the right stuff….i myself had met with people who have have gained good results about the disc and are 100% satisfied with the product as i am. why there is so controversy about the product when millions of people have posted their testimonials about the product, common people be open minded and try to find the correct and relevant information then speak negative.
Nobody cares about the dead dog. I am glad theses all people are concerned about the BIO-DISC. It is because; the company made a million plus sales on Bio-disc and it is an amazing product. It is obvious, it is hard to believe what the bio disc dose, but it is technology. what can I say…as a costumer somebody told me about the product 2 years ago and, I researched on it, and asked some people who are using it and they showed me the positive effects they got…then I decided to buy and try it… it was awesome, it improves my life in many ways. And then, I shared my experience and my bio disc with lots of people, only b/c it was good for me. And they were my friends and families that I cannot hide my good and bad experiences, most of them thanked me for the result they are seeing after they buy and use the bio disc at least for three weeks. I mean it worth trying it. In fact I don’t know how my Black Barry works, what it is in it .and I don’t have to, the scientist does that all for me …it is a big team work … but as a customer I researched on it I asked people who used it and I bought it…it is fine product and I am using it to facilitate my business in a better way…as the bio disc for my health. Hi everyone,when I first saw the biodisc, I was convinced its a bloody con job. Living in Malaysia, land of MLM, both legitimate and scam, I tend to be very waryand skeptical upfront whenever anyone shares a so-called miracle health product. I am anti-MLM, because although some people do make money, most people fail, and I don’t like the fact that the MLM people preach that ‘anyone can make it’ when in fact not everyone can.
I’m a medical scientist by education and training, and I also work in the medical industry. I would like to share my experience with the biodisc.
I was approached by a close family friend who promoted the disc to me. I laughed at him and said its nonsense, and I don’t believe in the theory.
Nevertheless, I decided to try using the biodisc, just to prove that its merely a placebo and does nothing else. Despite me being medically trained, I have also been taught to keep an open mind, as acupuncture and ayurvedic treatments have no clinical trials but are proven medically.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, despite my skepticism, and my constant harsh critics on the lack of solid medical proof, I am shocked with the results.
I used to have bad sinusitis, where my nose will drip and I will sneeze nonstop for one whole day. I get this every week at least 2 times. I drank the water run over the disc for 3 months, and this stopped. Also, I have eczema, which is rashes on the hands. I felt silly when the person asked me to spray the water on my hands, but now I don’t have eczema anymore.
I still find it hard to believe, and I won’t dare to recommend to other people, but I personally have bought one for myself as the funny thing is, it actually works!

Ed, it is so unfortunate that you don’t understand the mlm distribution model. Does that mean that according to you, all products distributed through mlm are not legit, well you may need to do more research. Network marketing is a wonderful business model if you take time to know how it works.

I’d gladly sell my mother’s biodisc for $250 USD. If it is so great, why wouldn’t anyone buy it back at half price? If you are into this piece of glass, buy it in the used market (Ebay), there are PLENTY of people who would sell for half or less. The problem is, the glass is worthless outside the selling tactics that the marketers employ!
Somewhere in a supply store room, there are thousands or tens of thousands pieces of this glass sitting around waiting to be MLM’ed.
THIS IS NOT A SCAM. My father has had skin cancers treated with great success using the biodisc and my mother is regaining some of her eyesight thanks to treatment with the biodisc. It is worth every penny when you see results that help and heal. Thank you all.

Well all the best to all you guys who are hooked on to a piece of ceramic glass looking for a cure, like gazing into a magic crystal ball and hoping for miracles. One thing is sure – there are many suckers in the world who are conned and I for sure ain’t no bait.
To blast Bio Disc because it costs $3,000 a kilo is lame. How much do diamonds, other precious stones, and gold cost a kilo? Are you saying they are over-priced because of their cost per kilo? Get real.
The Bio Disc is the best health investment you can make. I paid $720 for two discs; that’s $360 each. The Bio Disc last 15 to 25 years. At $600 for one disc over 15 years it comes to a penny a day. Think of all the other things you spend $3 a month on. How much benefit do you get from watching a movie, soft drinks, beer, etc.? From my own experience and from those I personally know, I’d have to say the testimonials you see online are not hype.
Some MLM companies have inflated prices. But that is true for other products not marketed through MLM. How much do you think that sugary syrup called a soft drink costs? At fast food joints in US people pay a dollar for a cup half filled with ice and a soft drink. Designer clothes are another example. Just because a poular name tag is on a piece of clothing, people pay way more than the value. These items are often produced in third world countries by child labor in horrible working conditions. I guess you don’t have a problem with that because it’s not marketed through MLM.
To try to increase their downline, some MLMers hype the business opportunity as a get-rich-quick scheme. This is unethical marketing. MLM tales work and perserverence. I know people who have been successful in MLM, and I also know some who failed. In all cases the failures did not stick with it because they thought it would be easy money. Or in some cases they joined companies that were not actually selling good products or the companies were shut down because they were not actually selling products (such as online shopping malls).
However, Questnet, the marketing arm of Bio Disc, is a product-based company, and their best selling product is the Bio Disc. Why? Because it works. I just went to E-Bay and found only three Bio Discs available, two for $400 and one for $500. That’s hardly a testimony that the product is junk. In fact, with over 1,000,000 Bio Discs sold through 2008, it says quite the opposite.
I highly doubt any of you Bio Disc bashers have even used the product. Drink 2 liters a day of Bio Disc energized water for two months and then give is your opinion. Or at least tell us of the personal experience of someone you know who has done so. Otherwise, it’s all hot air.

I bought the disc hoping that it performs what it claims. But unfortunately after using it for 2 yrs now there is still no effects on me at all. Sinus no improvement. Leg pain still pain. After putting on my stomach to shine for more than an hour everynight my skin got darker in the area where I shine. Looks like burnt skin. It is too much to pay for some stupid disc that shows no improvement. I really felt cheated
Hey people I think the number of comments that have been in positive alignment with the bio disc’s effect have certainly outnumbered the comments that are negative in view.
Although the biodisc is a fabulous product (the testimonials people have put up out of pure choice are to indicate), the essence of the questnet business is not only to get phenomenal value out of the product but to help people gain financial freedom through hard, consistent effort.

Dont make negative comments about any product or service if you have not experienced.Dont talk about any service or product just by listening.If you guys want to swim get in to water. You cant talk about swimming just by getting to hear from someone who knows swimming.
I am with people who have told that Bio- disc is an amazing product. There are no two ways about it. If you guys are so scekptical about the product,be open minded try it for yourself.

Chelsea, my wife has sinusitus, and it has drastically improved from bio disc. We have both used it successfully for pain management. I think an hour is too much time (two to three minutes a few times a day should be enough), and you need to keep it 6 inches away from the affected area. Make sure you are using it correctly.
when I first heard of the Bio Disc, I tried to rationalize as some people are doing with my mind as to how a piece of glass can do what is being talked about. However, I decided to read more and understand the technology behind and. I also had the opportunity of a close friend using it to fight cholesterol and the amazing results he got after just three months. Meanwhile he had been put on lipiton a drug used to fight cholesterol with very serious side effects from 5years onwards. you were not even bold enough to mention the products names and you are selling your ignorance so cheaply by condemning something you know nothing about. That not good for you as a sales person. find out more, sell more and make more money. At least thats what you do, but when someone is doing the same, you want to say its a scam.

I’ve seen videos of 4 people lifting up a person with their finger tips claiming after drinking certain water or wearing a pendant where previously before they can’t. Fyi, I’ve done that with some friends years ago without any special drink or pendant or whatever that people say. Btw, we did that experiment after lunch while waiting for our seminar to start, just for kicks.

I think this biodisc is a bogus, and the people selling them may not realize it. Here is what I would do if a group of three approached me with this biodisc and “finger lifting trick”. Have them try lifting a person with their fingers ten times. At each trial, they should be randomly assigned to do whatever they do to get their “scalar energy”, and the three people shouldn’t know whether or not all of them have obtained the power. Then determine if they consistently failed to lift the person with their fingers if they didnt have the “scalar energy” and vice versa.
As for those involved in this, it is indeed “your money, your choice”: your money ( you have to recover from others in the pyramid under you) , your choice ( to scam because you were scammed)

What we are looking at is whether this product has worked for people. Even people who believe in prayer know that faith is the main virtue you have to have in order for your prayers to be answered? …. so, can we say that prayer doesn’t work because you are told to believe and think positively.
