2007 Goals Checkpoint
We are into the second quarter of 2007. How time flies. So, are you on track with your financial goals so far? Or have you already given up? I hope not. Sometimes, besides having the desire to put your financial house in order, you need some tools to help you get there.
I came across this two tools that might make you job a bit easier. Both are free. The first one is at wesabe.com. Sign up for a membership for free and you can track up to twelve bank or credit card accounts. If some of you don’t feel comfortable putting all your financial info online, then you can consider Pear budget which allows you to download an Excel type worksheet. The author of the site has made the spreadsheet as simple as possible, knowing that if it is difficult, most people are not going to use it. You can download it here.
I tried out the spreadsheet. Quite straight forward to use once you have set it up. Should not take more than 25 minutes unless you plan to budget to the cent. All it takes is a few minutes a day to update it, but you need a PC or a laptop.
Go check it out.
