Swiss Cash - Scam Or Great Investment?

Someone came to ask me this. Is Swiss Cash a scam or an investment too good to be true? On their site, SwissCash.com, you can find the following.

Average Investment Return – 20% per calendar month
300% Returns in 450days
More Income for Financial Consultants
Built USD78 million fund within 6 months of global launching
Expected to hit USD1 Billion by 2007
Principal guaranteed by Swiss Mutual Fund(1948)

I smell of a ponzi like scam here, but what I would like to know if anyone have any experience with Swiss Cash, especially if you have invested for some time. Your feedback is much appreciated.

Update
After all the comments and further checks throughout the internet, my personal thoughts on Swiss Cash is that if you are keen to make some extra money, then check out side income category on this site.

Thinking Out Of The Box

Solutions for your financial woes. Some times, people get bogged down by their problems and it just seem like there is no solution out of it. Bouncing ideas off a friend can help provided your friend is positive and not in a financial mess himself. The thing about financial problems is, most people rather hide it behind a facade “that everything if ok”. I don’t have a problem. If you have read my earlier post about teambuilding, you can see, how I’ve benefitted when working in a team and got multiple ideas within a short time.

Most of the time, things in life aren’t that complicated. If you think it is complicated, then you hare already limited your possible solutions. You have just built yourself a brick wall. Another method you can try to train yourself to solve puzzles. Puzzles basically twist your mind from your normal way of thinking a force you to think in a different angle. The person who came out with the puzzle already know what is the normal way most people think, and they design it in such a way to stretch your mind. Try this simple puzzle out.

You are driving your 2 seater car alone on a stormy night, when suddenly you pass by a bus stop, and see three people waiting for a bus:

1. An family man who looks as if he is about to die,

2. An old friend who saved your life once,

3. The perfect partner you have been dreaming about.

Which one would you choose to offer a ride to, knowing very well that there could only be one passenger in your car? Your decision might be based on the following.

* You could pick up the family man, because he is going to die, and thus you should save him first;

* or you could take the old friend because he once saved your life, and this would be opprotunity to repay him.

* However, you may never be able to find your perfect mate again. How would you choose? Try to solve it before you look for the answer below.

The perfect answer to meet all 3 need would be. Hand the car to the old friend and let him take the family man to the hospital. You would stay behind and wait for the bus with the partner of my dreams! Possible, yes.

Taking the Market by Storm

While I was reading the Forbes Top 10 Richest people on Earth, the founder of Ikea, Ingvar Kamprad caught my attention. I like the concept of the Idea furniture store. In my country, they are not the cheapest furniture around. Quality wise, some furniture here also beat them hands down in terms of durability. Here we have marble top dining tables, teak wook furniture (although different price range), rubber wood furniture that would outlast compressed fibre anytime.

Here in KL, we have many furniture mart, but none as big or have as many choices as Ikea does. Although there are some smart entrepreneurs have built several huge furniture warehouses where smaller furniture business group together, they do not have as a wide choice as Ikea. I mean, where can you get candles and light bulbs, or light holders, carpets big and small and all that kind of stuff anywhere else. It’s impossible, and here lies the strength of Ikea. They have something for everyone. You can shop and most likely get something that suits your style without going elsewhere. Because other furniture stores are small by comparison, you will find yourself driving everywhere and still might not get what you want.

Besides the convenience, Ikea knows that anyone that steps into their store will buy something, period. If it is not furniture or home related items, you’d probably eat the food there. Parents have taken advantage of the children play area for free baby sitting for a couple of hours. And I also know my brother’s kids loves Ikea! They make shopping there any experience.

Do you have the same kind of advantage Ikea has for your business? If you have, just the sheer size will make you a tough act to follow.
